The Program:

Day 01: (Saturday) Arrive Cairo, staff will assist with clearing immigration and customs then transfer you to the Le Meridien Pyramids hotel. Overnight Cairo
OPTIONAL sound and light show at the pyramids ($30 per person)

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Those traveling with USA or Canada passports can obtain theirs on arrival at Cairo. No photos, no forms and cost is about $18. Travelers with other passports should check with us whether you need one before arrival.

Day 02: (Sunday) Enjoy an international buffet breakfast and check out before starting the day at the Pyramids at Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the world, the Great Pyramid. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx and then a wonderful afternoon to explore the treasures of the Egyptian Antiquity Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Luxor. Arriving staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor Hotel. Overnight Luxor (B)

Day 03: (Monday) Buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel, visit the West Bank's Necropolis of Thebes featuring the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the East Bank to board your 5 star Deluxe Nile cruiser, the Queen of Hansa. Ship features include panoramic opening floor to ceiling windows, large cabins, T.V./video/radio, private baths and individual climate control. Lunch, then visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. Watch the sunset over the Necropolis of Thebes while enjoying dinner. Evening entertainment. Overnight Luxor (B at the hotel, L,D on the ship)
OPTIONAL sound and light show at Karnak Temple $30 per person.

Day 04: (Tuesday) Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Esna. Pass the Esna lock and sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Edfu (B,L,D)

Day 05: (Wednesday) Breakfast then visit the Temple of Horus. Enjoy lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo then to Aswan. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 06: (Thursday) After breakfast visit the Temple of Philae, the Pharaoh's granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam.
FREE BONUS: Afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens traveling by Felucca (native sailboat). These are wind powered only so if there is no wind this will not operate. Dinner and evening entertainment. Overnight Aswan (B,L,D)

Day 07: (Friday) Disembark the cruise after your buffet breakfast. Staff transfers you to the Movenpick Elephantine Island Resort. Afternoon visit to the Nubian Museum, a world class presentation of Nubia's culture and history. Overnight Aswan (B)

Day 08: (Saturday) After your buffet breakfast staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo, where staff will transfer you to the Marriott Hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)
NOTE: An optional excursion to Abu Simbel to visit the famous temples of Ramses can be done before flying to Cairo. $250 a person including transfers, flights, entry fees, private guide, service charges and taxes.

Day 09: (Sunday) Buffet breakfast then a visit to Memphis, (the ancient capital), Sakkarra with the Stepped Pyramid and Dahshur, with it's famous Bent and Red Pyramids plus the new Imhotep museum. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 10: (Monday) After your buffet breakfast enjoy a tour of Old Cairo with it's famous churches and synagogue plus the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Alabaster Mosque. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 11: (Tuesday) Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.

TOURS INCLUDE: GUARANTEED TO OPERATE WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS. Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.

NOT included are: Air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.

FREQUENT TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international air or we can assist. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
