The Program:

May 10: (Monday) Depart New York’s JFK airport on Egyptair #986 at 6:30PM flying nonstop to Cairo. (Dinner on the flight)
NOTE: You must be checked in no later than 3:30PM for this flight or you will not be allowed to board.

May 11: (Tuesday) Arriving Cairo mid-day staff transfers you to your 5 star hotel, The Movenpick Pyramids Resort. Evening free. Overnight Cairo (brunch on the flight)

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival. PLEASE CHECK YOUR PASSPORT FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST SIX MONTHS VALIDITY LEFT TO ENTER.

May 12: (Wednesday) International buffet breakfast then a free morning or enjoy an optional tour to Sakkarra with the famous stepped pyramid and Dahshur with the Bent and Red pyramids (open for entry). Then in the afternoon included in the tour cost is a visit the Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Overnight Cairo (B)

May 13: (Thursday) International buffet breakfast, check out, staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Aswan on Egyptair #381 at 8:30AM. Arriving 9:55AM enjoy a tour of the Temple of Philae and the Pharaoh’s granite quarries before checking in at the new Iberotel Nile Resort. Overnight Aswan (B)
Optional Tour of the Nubian Museum, a world class presentation of Nubia’s culture and history and the Aswan souk (bazaar): $40

May 14: (Friday) International buffet breakfast, check out and transfer to your Deluxe Nile Cruiser, the M/S Moon Dance. FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Lunch and Dinner on the ship. Overnight Cruise/Aswan (B, L, D)
Optional tour to Abu Simbel to see the famous temples of Ramses this morning. Tour must be booked with reservation. $250 per person including tranfers, flights, enty fees, services of a licensed English speaking guide.

May 15: (Saturday) Breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Two Gods. Return to the ship for lunch. Sail to Edfu. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board. Overnight Edfu (B, L, D)

May 16: (Sunday) Breakfast on board then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to the ship to sail to Luxor via the Esna lock. Lunch on board. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Luxor located on the East Bank of Luxor. Dinner on board. Overnight Luxor. (B, L, D)

May 17: (Monday) Breakfast on board then complete the tour of the East Bank of Luxor by visiting the Temple of Karnak. Afterwards visit the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After the tours check out and disembarkation. Staff transfers you to the Sonesta Luxor hotel. Overnight Luxor (B)

May 18: (Tuesday) Breakfast, check out, staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Cairo. Arriving enjoy a tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities featuring King Tut's treasures and the Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages. Staff transfers you to the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. (B)

May 19: (Wednesday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure on Egyptair #985 at 9:15AM flying nonstop to New York. Arriving JFK at 3:15PM clear immigration and customs. (breakfast and lunch on the flight)

TOURS INCLUDE: GUARANTEE TO OPERATE WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 20 TRAVELERS PER GROUP. International air from JFK in economy class, domestic flights in Egypt in economy class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.). Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, and individual climate control. Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.

NOT included are:  Items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

GROUP TOURS TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Travel Egypt is a wholly owned subsidiary of World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc., a Georgia corporation.

Please note that should the USA State Department feel it necessary to put a travel warning specifically on Egypt we will of course notify all future travelers who have booked a tour with us and give them the option of receiving a 100% credit of any funds paid, regardless of when their trip is scheduled to depart.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION: Once you have decided on a tour and it is confirmed you will have to pay a deposit to secure the reservation. Generally a $250 deposit per person holds the reservation. There are exceptions for special events, certain holiday periods or if a particular supplier involved with your tour requires additional funds. You will be informed of the correct deposit amount when your invoice is presented. Balance of the tour cost is due in our office no later than 60 days prior to departure. Should you discover you have to cancel your plans your deposit will be credited toward any future World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc. trip (only if you do so in writing via fax to 678-319-1448, e mail to travelegyptinc@gmail.com or postal letter to P.O. Box 209, Cumming, GA 30028 USA at least 30 days before departure.
A $100US service charge per person is charged for any cancellation. Cancellations within 30 days of the tour departure date forfeit the deposit. Should you have to cancel after paying the final payment but at least 15 days prior to departure a credit equal to the total value of the package (less the deposit and/or any cancellation fees of the various suppliers affected such as the airlines, hotels, ground transportation services, etc.) will be extended. This must be done in writing (fax, e mail, postal letter) and received at World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc's Travel Egypt no later than 15 days prior to scheduled arrival. Cancellations within 15 days forfeit the entire value of the tour. Any credits allowed have a limited life of one year (365 days) from the original tour departure date and must be used within the time allotted. Credits are not transferable without World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt written permission. Credits for deposits may only be used as part of a final payment on a future tour and cannot be re-applied as a deposit.

RESPONSIBILITY: World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt and cooperating agencies act only in the capacity of agent for the participation in all matters relating to transportation and/or all other related travel services and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service including but not limited to, that resulting directly or indirectly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies or change in transit. Reasonable changes in itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the participants.

If for any reason beyond World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt's control, scheduled flights or air fares are changed, any increase in air fare will be collected from tour members; The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time the passengers are not on board the aircraft and/or conveyances. the airline tickets issued by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between these airlines and the purchaser of any of World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc. Travel Egypt's tours and/or tour members.

RISKS: The very nature of providing tours causes concern on the part of World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt as to the safety of each tour participant. Due to this the company reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain any person as a client of any package at any time and for any reason whatsoever, which Travel Egypt and/or its suppliers shall in our (their) sole judgment deem necessary. In any such event the companies involved shall not be held liable and the client shall have no recourse whatsoever, directly or indirectly against Travel Egypt and/or its suppliers with respect to the cancellation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt requires that all tour participants have travel insurance coverage including trip interruption, trip cancellation, health and life. Tour operators and agencies cannot be expected to refund or credit clients when circumstances prevent the client from completing their trip. Insurance should be considered as part of the cost of any holiday. Travel insurance is available on the internet from many companies. Visit www.insuremytrip.com for coverage's and quotes.

VENUE: Any controversy or claim rising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach of this contract, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. A judgment of a court having jurisdiction may be entered upon the arbitrator's award. Proceedings against the company must be filed within one year of the date of tour departure. World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and all tour members hereby waive any rights to punitive damages. No party, other than an officer of World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc. by any means, including verbal or written, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this contract. It is agreed that the venue for any disputes which may arise from this agreement will be Camden County, Georgia. On advancement of deposit the depositor and all tour members agree to the bound by the above recited terms and conditions. It is solely the responsibility of the depositor to inform all tour members of these terms and conditions and World Explorer Tours and Travel Inc.'s Travel Egypt cannot be held responsible in any way for failure on the part of the tour organizer and/or depositor to adhere to this matter.
