**RECOGNIZED AGENTS: Sorry, however we do not accept reservations from agents affiliated with companies that have their own ground operations in Egypt nor agents from consortiums where their business is restricted to “preferred” suppliers unless our firm is on their list. The purpose of our fams is to introduce agents to our excellent service with the hope of them choosing us as their tour operator in Egypt, not to provide vacations to agents, who because of company restrictions cannot send us business.
METHODS OF PAYMENT: We are happy to accept your personal check drawn on a USA bank and payable in U.S. currency or a credit card. We accept American Express directly in house. This means we fax you (or send by email) an invoice, you complete the card form attached with the card number, expiration date, billing address and sign it then fax it to our office in Georgia and we obtain the authorization electronically. For other types of cards (Visa and Mastercard) we use Paypal. Paypal is an online merchant service for clearing payments, mostly for E Bay, the giant online auction house but also for international merchants. It is not limited to one currency as customers can pay in Euros, Yen, British Pounds, etc making life much simpler for those doing international business. You have to open an account with them (this is free) and then get verified. This is a short process whereby you provide them with certain info and then they authorize you to make payments through their system. They are very secure and for merchants they completely remove the chance of someone using a card that is stolen or such and then the merchant being stuck with a fraud. Also as the merchant we never know the credit card number or info so we have no security protection issues. So if you desire to use a card other than American Express visit www.paypal.com, open an account and send your payment to travelegypt@gmail.com.
