The Program:
Day
01: (Wednesday) Arriving Cairo, be met by our
staff who will assist you with clearing immigration
and customs and transfer you to the Intercontinental
Pyramids Park resort. The evening is free. Overnight
Cairo
OPTIONAL sound and light show at the Pyramids this evening.
VISAS: All travelers to
Egypt must have a visa. Those traveling with USA or
Canada passports can obtain theirs on arrival at Cairo.
No photos, no forms and cost is about $18. Travelers
with other passports should check with us whether you
need one before arrival.
Day 02: (Thursday) International
buffet breakfast at the hotel, free morning, check out,
then an afternoon tour of the Pyramids
at Giza and the Sphinx,
In the early evening staff will transfer you to the
first class sleeper train to Aswan where you will have
a private sleeping compartment and shared bath. Depart
at 8PM. Enjoy dinner in your private compartment. Overnight

Day
03: (Friday) Arrive Aswan at 8:30AM, your guide
will meet you at the train for a tour of the Temple
of Philae,
the Pharaohs granite quarries with the Unfinished
Obelisk
and the High
Dam.
Then transfer to board your Deluxe 5 star Nile cruiser,
the Queen of Hansa featuring panoramic floor to ceiling
opening Nile view windows, private bath, individual
climate control and more. Lunch while sailing to Kom
Ombo. Visit the temple
shared by two gods,
then sail to Edfu. Evening entertainment and dinner.
Overnight Edfu (B on the train, L,D on the ship)
Day
04: (Saturday) Enjoy a buffet breakfast then
visit the Temple
of Horus,
the best preserved of all of Egypt's temples. Lunch
while sailing to Esna, cross the river locks and sail
to Luxor. Evening entertainment and dinner. Overnight
Luxor (B,L,D)
Day
05: (Sunday) Buffet breakfast then a morning
tour of the West Bank's Necropolis
of Thebes including the
Valley
of the Kings, the Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi
of Memnon.
Return to the ship for lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy
Luxor. Dinner and evening entertainment. (B,L,D)
Day
06: (Monday) Breakfast, disembark the cruise
and visit the East bank temples of Karnak and Luxor.
Afternoon free to enjoy Luxor before staff transfers
you to the train station for your overnight first class
sleeper to Cairo departing at 9PM.
Day
07: (Tuesday) Arrive Cairo at 6AM and enjoy a
tour of the Egyptian
museum of antiquities, featuring King
Tut's treasures. Afterwards staff transfers you
to the Fairmont
Heliopolis hotel. Overnight Cairo (B on the train).
Day
08: (Wednesday) Staff will transfer you to the
airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in
for your international departure.
TOURS
INCLUDE: GUARANTEED TO OPERATE WITH NO MINIMUM
NUMBER OF TRAVELERS. Maximum of 16 travelers on each
tour.
All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to
the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage
handling of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person
however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's
risk at all time during the tour. Hotels (based on double
occupancy). Overnight first class sleeper train from
Cairo to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo with private sleeping
compartment and shared bath. 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise
with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath,
and individual climate control. Meals as outlined by
B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees
for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of
an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges
and taxes.
NOT
included are: Items of a personal nature such
as tips, entry visa (available at the airport on entry
for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with
the nearest Egyptian consulate), phone calls, laundry,
drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered
in the included items.

Single Price
is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins
based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers
(one person on the tour) would have additional cost.
FREQUENT
TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own
international air or we can assist. Also if you are
a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program
you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and
the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR
if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage
of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which
program you want to use.
