Opened in 2000, the hotel was built around an ancient olive tree that legend has it provided shade for caravans of pilgrims just before entering the holy city. They say that to this very day, when you close your eyes in the hotel's Olive Tree Garden, you can still hear the strains of King David's harp serenading pilgrims.

The eight-story Olive Tree Hotel offers 304 spacious rooms ranging from very comfortable to spacious and includes individually controlled air conditioning, international TV channels, a personal safe, direct telephone line, voicemail, connection to fax/modem, hair dryer, bathtub (except for accessible rooms with a roll-in shower), digital locked doors, and much more.

A unique garden, located at the heart of the hotel, around the ancient olive tree. The garden has a glass roof and is fully air-conditioned. The Olive Tree Garden, with its pastoral atmosphere, accommodates up to 150 guests for meals, receptions and special events.

The hotel lobby bar is located on the main floor and combines a dairy restaurant with a piano bar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable sofas, a wooden floor and pleasnat lighting. Gourmet dishes, distinct to Jerusalem, are elegantly served. The Oasis Bar is especially appropriate for cocktail parties and receptions, with a capacity of 140 guests.
