The Program:

Day 01: (Monday) Arrive Cairo, clear immigration and customs then staff transfers you to the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel. O/N Cairo

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.

Day 02: (Tuesday) International buffet breakfast at the hotel, then a full day tour of the Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx and the early pyramids at Sakkara and Dashur. O/N Cairo (B)

Day 03: (Wednesday) International buffet breakfast at the hotel then visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and marvel at King Tut's treasures. In the afternoon, visit the Khan el Khalili Bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the Middle Ages. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 04: (Thursday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in and you fly to Aswan. Arriving Aswan, staff transfers you to the Movenpick Elephantine Island Resort or the Iberotel Nile resort. O/N Aswan (B)
Optional tour to Abu Simbel. $250 per person

Day 05: (Friday) Breakfast, check out then enjoy a tour of the Temple of Philae, the Pharaohs granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam. Transfer to board your Deluxe 5 star Nile cruiser, the M/S Moon Dance or the M/S Amarco. Featuring panoramic floor to ceiling opening Nile view windows, private bath, individual climate control and more. Lunch. FREE BONUS: Sail on the Nile by Felucca (native sailboat). (Please note that these boats are solely wind powered, if there is no wind this will not operate). Dinner. Overnight Aswan (B, L, D)

Day 06: (Saturday) Breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Two Gods. Return to the ship for lunch. Sail to Edfu. Dinner on board. Overnight Edfu (B, L, D)

Day 07: (Sunday) Breakfast on board then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to the ship to sail to Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Luxor. Dinner on board. Overnight Luxor. (B, L, D)

Day 08: (Monday) Breakfast, disembark, visit the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the East bank and visit the Temple of Karnak. Enjoy the comfort of the Sonesta Luxor Hotel. Overnight Luxor (B)
Optional Hot Air balloon. $150 per person.
Optional sound and light show at Karnak temple $40 per person
West bank sites not included in cruise: $95 per person (includes the tombs of the nobles and artisans, Medinet Habu, Ramessium, temple of Seti 1)

Day 09: (Tuesday) Buffet breakfast, then staff transfers you to the Luxor Airport and you fly to Cairo. Arriving Cairo continue to Alexandria by air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the hospitality of the Maritim Jolie Ville, right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. O/N Alexandria (B)

Day 10: (Wednesday) Buffet breakfast then tour Alexandria, including a visit to the Alexandria National Museum, a world class presentation of Alexandria's history from its founding through the Middle Ages. Visit the Greco Roman sites including the catacombs, Pompey's pillar and the amphitheater. Overnight Alexandria (B)

Day 11: (Thursday) Breakfast, check out and continue your tour of Alexandria including the new library then return to Cairo in the afternoon to the Fairmont Heliopolis Hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)

Day 12: (Friday) Staff will transfer you to the Cairo Airport, assist with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.

TOURS INCLUDE: OPERATES WITH NO MINIMUM AND A MAXIMUM OF 16 TRAVELERS. Domestic flights in Egypt in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.). Hotels (based on double occupancy). 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, individual climate control (based on double occupancy). Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.
NOTE: During any of our small group tours people may join or leave at various times, however at no time would any group be larger than 16 travelers. We can provide private tours with an additional supplement. The cost depends on the tour chosen.

NOT included are: INTERNATIONAL AIR, items of a personal nature such as entry visa (available at the airport on entry for USA citizens. Other nationalities should check with the nearest Egyptian consulate), tips, phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.

Single Price is for Single occupancy hotel rooms and cruise cabins based on a minimum of two travelers. Single travelers (one person on the tour) would have additional cost.

FREQUENT TRAVELERS: You are welcome to arrange your own international air or we can assist if you are departing from the USA. Also if you are a member of any hotel chain frequent traveler program you are welcome to use your points for hotel rooms and the cost of the tour will be reduced accordingly OR if you want to accumulate points plus take advantage of membership hotel room upgrades let us know which program you want to use.
